Juvederm Ultra is an injectable filler that is used to add volume and fullness to the skin. This hyaluronic acid based filler is used to correct moderate facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm Ultra Plus

Similar to the original Juvederm Ultra formula, Juvederm Ultra Plus is a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler that can be used to treat the nasolabial fold that runs from the nose to the mouth. However, Juvederm Ultra Plus is specially formulated to provide further correction to severe lines, wrinkles, and folds.

Juvederm Injections

To begin the procedure, you may opt for a numbing cream to be applied to your treatment area of choice. A numbing cream will be left on for 45 minutes to take effect before injections. Once numbed, the injections sites will be marked and injected. Results will be instantly visible other than some minor swelling and redness. Patients can expect to enjoy results for up to 12 months.

Recovery

Part of the appeal with dermal fillers is the minimal downtime. After treatment, patients may experience some swelling and redness lasting up to a few days. Swelling can be improved with the use of cold compresses.
